TCS Annual day

Annual day celebrations of TCS provided yet another opportunity to showcase the talents of differently abled children at H2O. Vegetable Garden

Helping hands organization inaugurated Vegetable Garden which was sponsored by Innerwheel club in collaboration with Agricultural Department. Thaikudam Bridge Event

H2O was given an opportunity during the Diwali event held at Trivandrum club on 22nd of October by the band Thaikudam Bridge in which a presentation was made on activities of H2O along with fund raising during the band performance. More than 30 volunteers took part for this event making it successful.

Beach Clean-up Event

H2O commenced Beach Clean-up Day on 4th of October at St Andrews beach in which H2o volunteers, and people of the locality in St Andrews joined hands together to clean up beach. The event was organized in collaboration with 'Joy of Giving' campaign held by GTECH Group. All most 30 to 50 volunteers took part and they did Commendable work.

Christmas celebrations

Christmas celebrations for the year 2014 were conducted on 20th December 2014 at the premises of Trivandrum Scottish School. Famous writer Mr. Sreekandan Nair was the Chief Guest of the day and H20 director Miss. Jolly Johnson, Ms. Emily, social worker, Mr. Nazar, famous painter and Mrs. Ajini , a parent representative were present . Traffic Police Day

A team of students from four different schools (Carmel Girls Higher Secondary school , Scottish School, St.Vincent's High School and Al-Uthuman Higher Secondary School) came up with a social awareness program under the banner of CMCA and Helping hands Organisation. Movie Show

Helping Hands Organization (H2O), along with the cast and crew of the Malayalam film Mummyude Swantham Achoos, organized a special screening of the film at Nila Theatre, on 26th November 2014. Screening of the movie which shows issues faced by a differently abled child and his family was an attempt to bring such children to the mainstream and make them feel special to their parents.

Bodhini

H2O got a chance to present cultural events at ‘Bodhini 2014’- the convocation ceremony of students of Ayurveda College in which both children from underprivileged category and autistic kids participated. A painting made by Athira, an autistic kid was presented to Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, chief guest of the function. It was a great opportunity to showcase the special abilities of children and to improve their social skills.

Dhan Utsav – ‘The joy of giving’

‘Dhan Utsav – The joy of giving’ was organised at St Andrews beach in which volunteers of H20 along with the CEOs of GTech spend time with underprivileged and autistic children. Every one participated in games and cultural events arranged. H2O along with G-Tec dedicated a day for the elderly by taking them for a movie in Techno park premises. Ottaam Thullal

H2O in coordination with SPICMACY arranged an Ottamthullal performance of Kalamndalam Mohana Kirishnan at SIMC Pangappara for children with autism. The children were so much active and enthusiastic, that the artist was very much moved; he interacted a lot with the children and even taught them a few moves later on.
